Educators who are members of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Association of Educators (CMAE), an affiliate of the North Carolina Association of Educators, have endorsed 16 pro-public education candidates for seats in the North Carolina Senate and House.
“Each of these candidates strongly supports public school students and educators,” said CMAE President Lawrence Brinson. “They recognize the importance of public education to our state’s well-being and will fight to ensure that our students have more opportunities to be successful in and outside of the classroom.”
