Introducing CMAE's Early Career Educator Program Leaders

BTOP Coordinator Amanda Camacho, ECLL Coordinator Brandon Mack, and ECLL Virtual Coach Kristen Williams

CMAE's Early Career Learning Labs
(ECLL) and Beginning Teacher Organizing Program (BTOP) support early career educators around instructional and classroom problems of practice. ECE's are teachers within the first five years of their teaching career. The BTOP/ECLL Program is a collaboration between the National Education Association, NCAE, and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Association of Educators. Membership's not required to participate.

ECE's will...
1. Discover: Identify a problem of practice
2. Engage: Share ideas with a national teaching community
3. Learn: Engage in deep learning around a problem of practice
4. Teach: Apply new knowledge techniques with your students
5. Reflect: Share experiences and refine teaching strategies
